The Ones I Use – My List of Best WordPress Plugins

By | 24 March, 2012

It’s like a box of chocolate…Which plugins should I use?  When you start your first blog or website that seems to be the question…and then you start ‘investigating’ and ‘wondering’ and the next thing you know…another 4 hours have passed…oh no.

This is my personal list of favorites.  Some of the descriptions are blatantly taken from the WP summary (why work harder right?).  You may not need all of these depending on the options in your WP theme or the type of site being built.  This is my go to list of “BEST WORDPRESS PLUGINS”, I go through this list whenever I create a new site.  The ones with the little ** are my must have!  Below is the list, my next post will show you how to quickly install all these at once and it’s NOT via ftp.

Comment:  Heard that based on testing google responds better with a page that has an .html on it.

  • Hey Sylvia,

Thanks for the list. I myself am a bit of a plugin junkie. I have 22 plugins active on my blog right now and I’m always looking for new ones to try. That JW Player sounds cool. I’ll have to give it a try some time.

    Take Care
